The amount of rumors floating around right now makes it hard to know what to expect when they finally release an announcement trailer. Nothing is confirmed, of course, but I’d be surprised if we didn’t get something Assassin’s Creed related late in 2017 or early 2018. I enjoyed this game, but I’m even more excited to see what they can do once the new consoles are released. It took everything good about the 2D/3D transition of Black Flag and Unity added in some great social features gave us a new setting with Renaissance Italy then wrapped it up into one tight little package that was easy to play anywhere. The latest game has proven that they can make an even more streamlined version of all their games, like last year’s Assassin’s Creed Identity.
While many other franchises are watered down for mobile devices, Assassin’s Creed manages to deliver fun gameplay without the need of a controller (except for maybe combat). I just finished playing the latest installment Assassin’s Creed Identity Mod APK on my PS4, and was pleased by how well it translated to console.
